PG Annual T-Shirt 2008LUNCHTIME DETECTION ARRANGEMENT AND USE THEREOF I have discovered that the length (L, L') of the shadow (5, 5’) of any oblong object (1, 1') is minimal at t = Tlunch. This discovery has been applied in my new invention to solve the widely known lunchtime coordination problem. By arranging two objects (1, 1’) near your cave and your office, respectively, (see Fig. 1) and determining the positions (4, 4’) where t = Tlunch you may from observing the position of the object shadow (5’) leave office in time to reach your cave when Eq. 1 is fulfilled. Likewise, your wives may observe the position of the first object shadow (5) and (see page 2)
